Here goes nothing!

I am officially starting fresh with the blog portion of my business.

A little background on my blog

I started Lemonry during the summer of 2022. I was elated to start making stickers but I quickly realized that managing a business (even a small one) and regularly creating content was far more time consuming than I had thought. During this time, I was also in school working to finish my degree and my free time was rather limited. Between my school work and working a full-time job, my business took a back seat pretty swiftly.

I would post content here and there. I would create new stickers when I could. I would rush to take product photos. It became a mix of personal and business with a scattered and inconsistent posting schedule. That’s not what I envisioned.

As of this month, I have officially completed my degree! I will be attending my graduation to obtain my Bachelor Degree in Marketing in June as a final commencement. The past two years has been mentally draining but I am excited to finally be able to focus on my business as a top priority.

I have a few goals with Lemonry

Goal One

Redesign the website. If you are a regular here, you can see the changes have been made! If you are new, welcome! I felt the original design had too much empty white space and was overall pretty bland. I stuck with my original color scheme and made the home page far more lively. I picked new fonts and touched up each page. Also, instead of going with “Lemonry by Laura”, I went with “Lemonry Ceative”. I felt this change is little less personal and it encompasses the creative outlet I envision this space to become.

Goal Two

I am going to niche down my blog. Since I just completed my marketing degree and have a passion for business, I plan to share industry news, business strategies, marketing techniques, and my own business updates such as new products I launch. I have studied and researched several businesses over the years and I think I might have some good tips and tricks up my sleeve. I can also share my own journey starting a business that my help someone else one day.

Goal Three

Speaking of new products, I have some in the works! Currently, I am designing some new stickers so stay tuned for that. However, I am dreaming big. I plan to create some brand-new products as well. I am thinking I will start with bookmarks and greeting cards. Then I might explore notepads. Who knows, perhaps one day I will expand further and create tumbler cup designs and t-shirts! I have a lot of fun ideas so we’ll see what the future holds.

With these goals in mind, I would like to grow my business by creating a more professional space, launch new products, and share helpful information. There is really no better time to do that than now!
